hi... i have a tabular form select * from emp
and i want to create table and store there data in goup
select empono,sal,com group by dept
i want to insert in another table
how i insert the data in table by forms front end and then update also when again click the button
or any change occur in form
insert into a
select empono,sal,com group by dept
please reply if u have idea by code

hi,
your Question is not quite clear... do you want to create tables for diffrent departments or you simply want to make data entries in emp table and afterwrds update also, using forms? and please make the idea of groups clear, do you want to retrive the emp information by simply giving the department no?
