Hi friend, i want to know is it possible or not ?? i did it but i didnt get the result what i want

I created a lov ....

Lov :- Select empno, ename, job , hiredate, sal from emp

If i am searching thru empno and selected record to that empno...data is properly dispalyed on form...

But if i am serching thru ename, i did not get proper data in lov...

it means i want to search this lov by using ename, job etc. not only empno...

how to do this ??

Thanks in advance...

LOV's are desinged to search on the first column in their select list only.
To search on multiple fields you need multiple LOVs.
Or write a form that acts like an LOV and call that from the key-listval trigger (and when-validate-item if you want to mimic validate from list).
