Hi Experts,

I've a Master-Detail Form.

Recently I started entering data in detail part of the form.

The number of records I enter in detail part of the form the master part is repeated for same number of records.

For example if a master record consist of 3 detail records the master record will be repeated for 3 times. But in back-hand (data base) correct actual records exist.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

I read what you said several times, but I don't understand what you have (OK, a master-detail form) and what is the problem.

Master Block has 1 record
Detail Block has 3 records

Form displays Master record for 3 times because it has 3 detail records.

Sounds like your key (relation) in Forms isn't quite right. If you switch from one master record to another, does the detail block get updated?

Did you let Wizard create relationship, or did you do it manually? Perhaps you should delete all existing code (triggers, procedures) and ask Wizard to do it properly.

I've re-created relation by manually and by wizard, still facing the same problem.

What are the tables? What is the relationship between them?

You based your master block on a view? If so, try selecting the same data from that view... because either your view displays more records than it should, or your key-link is bad.

Look - you've done something wrong.
Since we know nothing about the tables or the relationship between or what you've told forms the relationship is, we have no idea how to fix it.
So you need to give a lot more details.

Cool, but I'm afraid that this is not the cause of your problems.

I found it.
In property pallet of master block
In clause of Query data source name (I mistakenly included the detail table)
And in Where clause (I mistakenly included the detail table join)
By removing the table and join from above two clauses, now it is working well.
Thanks for your support.
